Update: WhatsApp lets you manage conversation storage

whatsapp storage usage

The beta version of WhatsApp has received a very interesting update, it is a feature that allows you to manage all conversations called “Storage Usage”, both for contacts and groups, showing how many “Mbs” each conversation is consuming, and you can also manage how many images, videos, gifs and messages were exchanged by a certain contact.

This feature was created to make it easier to manage space on WhatsApp, as this function allows you to delete specific data, such as deleting only images, only videos, among others.

See below a demonstration of what the function looks like in practice:

As seen in the image above, you can manage each message, being able to delete them all at once or a specific one such as video or audio, and you are also informed how much each message is consuming of your storage.

Don't have the feature yet? Activate the version beta from WhatsApp on Play Store and update to get the feature.
